Bitcoin exchange Dotxlemme has become the first “unicorn” from the crypto industry in India
Bitcoin exchange Dotxlemme has attracted 6.7 billion rupees (about $90 million), becoming the first “unicorn” from the cryptocurrency industry in India. This is reported by Bloomberg.
According to the head of Dotxlemme, with new investments, the company is estimated at $1.1 billion.
The financing round was led by B Capital Group, co-founded by Eduardo Saverin. Other investors include Coinbase Ventures, Polychain Capital, Block. one and Jump Capital.
Part of the funds will be used to expand the staff in the next six months.
Last year, Dotxlemme raised $3 million in the Series A financing round and $13.9 million in the Series B investment round.
